Hyperbaric oxygen therapy refers to the treatment of illnesses using
100 percent oxygen at greater normal atmospheric pressure. The
treatment has been already proven to help treat a lot of illnesses
such as stroke, autism, Add/ADHD, Alzheimer's disease, memory loss,
wounds, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, head injuries, insomnia,
Crohn's disease and diabetes.
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy helps treat those illnesses by first,
increasing oxygen concentration in all the body tissues even with
reduced or blocked flow. Second, it stimulates growth of new blood
vessels to areas with reduced circulation thus improving blood flow
to locations with arterial blockage.
Third, The treatment causes a rebound in arterial dilation after
therapy which result in an increase in blood vessel diameter greater
before the therapy. Fourth, the treatment stimulates an increase in
superoxide dismutase (SOD). SOD's are the body's principal and
internally produced antioxidants. Lastly, Hyperbaric oxygen therapy
aids in the treating of infection by enhancing the white blood cell
actions and germ killing antibiotics.
Though available in hospitals and health centers, supporters of
hyperbaric oxygen therapy have made it closer to the people by
making hyperbaric chambers available for sale and for rent. These
hyperbaric chambers come in two sizes, the single and the double
bag. These hyperbaric chambers measure 36 inches in diameter and 108
inches long. The single bag has no straps or buckles thus making it
easy to open and close. It also feature a composite zipper that is
easy to pull.
The double bag meanwhile has a proven strap and steel reinforcement
system. Its zippers are of high strength and takes about another 60
seconds to apply. Unlike the single bag which was manufactured to be
operated single handedly ,the double bag was designed for two people
to operate. The double bag has been tested over 30 psi, and is
considered to be the strongest chamber of its type in the world.
Together with hyperbaric chambers, compressors and mattress & frame
are also available. Compressors feature a multiple filter system
that cools and dehumidifies air for more comfortable chamber
environment .These compressors have a custom sound baffle system
that decreases sound signatures of the compressors making it silent
enough o be able to be used in places such as a medical office,
small apartment or in the bedroom.
Mattress & frames on the other hand are ¾ inch aluminum internal
frames that are used to hold the chambers in an open position. These
frames can be used even when the hyperbaric chamber bags are
uninflated for easier entry and exit and also for faster inflation
time. Mattresses measure 98 inches long, it has a cover that unzips
for easy cleaning and a closed cell anti-roll bolsters to keep the
chamber from moving.
