My name is
Daniel, a friend of Michael Coss and a board member. As of today
(Oct4,2009) Michael Coss and my wife Tram have taken more than one
hundred Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy treatments and they are still
getting HBOT treatments. Michael Coss, the Founder and my wife have
benefited and are still benefiting from HBOT.
Back on May18,
2006, Michael Coss sustained a traumatic brain injury following a
car accident. He remained in a deep coma for more than 6 months
until his parents decide to start HBOT. After 3 HBOT treatments, he
awoke from his coma. Today and after 150 treatments he is doing much
better.
HBOT
considerably helped Tram, my wife to recover from her brain injury.
Back in February 2008, she sustained a massive hemorrhagic stroke
caused by the rupture of an AVM. The effects were
devastating.Paralysed on her left side and totally blind. So far, as
of today (Oct4,2009) Tram had 108 HBOT treatments, each session
lasting 90mn. Thanks to HBOT, she got her left visual field back,
and her right peripheral vision got much better since Sept.2008 when
she started HBOT. At that time, she was totally blind on her right
side (right visual field in both eyes was gone – right homonymous
hemaniopia). Her balance and gait got much and much better. Now she
is walking almost normally.
I read and I’m still reading many stories about traumatic and
non-traumatic brain injury survivors suffering from the effects of
the damages. I(we) still don’t why the medical system don’t want to
recommend HBOT right away in the early months after the accidents
and surgeries. For obvious reasons, HBOT should be used as soon as
possible in conjunction with other therapies. It’s been proven that
it works.
Michael and Tram are now the best friends ever and they see each
other on a regular basis at the HBOT clinic in Coquitlam in BC
Canada, and even outside the chamber.
