5 Reasons Clean Lead Thorough EDTA And
Chelation Therapy
Lead
is a metal that is naturally found in the earth's crust and because
of people's inventions has spread throughout our environment. Lead
is very dangerous because over exposure to it can bring lead
toxicity or plumbism. This danger is even more amplified because
lead can be found in paint, gasoline, contaminated soil, household
dust, drinking water, lead-glazed pottery and some metal jewelry.
The dangers of lead are lurking around us.
Breathing air, drinking water, swallowing or touching dirt that
contains lead, all of these exposes us to the dangers of lead and
health problems. Health problems like for adults, lead can increase
the blood pressure, nerve disorders, muscle and joint pains, memory
loss and cause infertility. For children, lead poisoning can develop
to anemia, severe stomachache, seizures, muscle weakness, coma,
brain damage and even death. Even low levels of lead poisoning can
also bring problems such as learning disorders and behavioral
problems.
To
determine if you are exposed to lead, you can see you doctor and
administer a blood test. There is not much special preparation for
this test and results come in within a few days. If results are
slightly elevated, doctors will usually give information to reduce
the exposure. If exposure is on higher levels, chelation therapy and
EDTA will be advised. But before thing end up that way, here are
some tips to prevent lead poisoning.
Wash
your children's hands after playing outside, before eating and going
to bed. Clean your floors with a wet mop. Wipe furnitures,
windowsills and other dusty surfaces with a damp cloth. Restrict the
areas where your children should play, avoid major roadways and
bridges. Prepare meals that are high in calcium and iron since a
nutritious diet can prevent lead absorption. Run cold water for at
least a minute before using and don't use tap water to make baby
formula or for cooking.
At
home if you are doing some minor remodeling or touch up work. You
can follow these tips. Wear protective equipment and clothing when
dealing with older houses and lead-based paint. Don not eat and
drink at areas where lead dust is present. Do not attempt to remove
lead paint by sanding. Do not use open-flame torch to remove paint.
Do not use the highest setting on a lead gun and use caution in
painting over old lead paint with new lead free enamel.
If
someone if your family is already suffering from lead poisoning than
chelation therapy and EDTA will be your solution. Chelation therapy
is an alternative medication that removes lead and other heavy metal
poisons out of your body. It is U.S. FDA approved so it is very
effective and safe. EDTA which stands for ethylenediaminetetraacetic
acid, is the synthetic amino acid and will be the chelating agent to
remove lead.
So
now that you know about lead poisoning and its solutions. It is high
time that you lead-proof your house and tell your family about it.
Good luck!
